Madoka rumble past Utah State, 105-17

Tony Kalmar ran for 231 yards and four touchdowns as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi overpowered past the Utah State Aggies, 105-17, at Mitakihara Stadium in Mitakihara Town, B.C., on Homecoming 2059. Cornerback Josh Joyce was the top player on defense with eight tackles and an interception in the rout in prime time.

Halfback Joe Wilson ran for 215 yards and four touchdowns, quarterback Dean Amakusa ran for 121 yards and a score, backup quarterback Justin Powers passed for 257 yards and two majors, wide receiver David Culver Page caught three passes for 81 yards and a score and tight end Jonathan Newell caught two passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Left tackle Charles Mitchell led the blockers on offense with 17 pancakes. Middle linebacker Jules Macklemore led the defense in tackling with nine tackles and right end Ronnie Andrews had two sacks. Five other players on defense had a sack each.

Mitakihara improve to 5-0 on the season and have a bye week next week. The Magi return to action on Oct. 17 when they host the Nevada Wolf Pack.
