Whoops! Madoka first string sent out, crush Boise 157-35

In a move that took everyone by surprise, Mitakihara Magi head coach Tatsuya Kaname elected to send out the first team against the Boise State Broncos. The end resul was a 157-35 blowout victory at Bronco Stadium in Boise, Ida. Quarterback Dean Amakusa passed for 271 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 324 yards and 6 more scores.

Halfback Tukul Abdul Rahman ran for 550 yards and six majors, halfback Tony Kalmar ran for 287 yards and three touchdowns, wide receiver Tony Graham bell caught four passes for 156 yards and two scores and both tight end Jonathan Newell and wide receiver Marques Singleton also caught a touchdown pass.

"I decided to bring out the first team at the last minute because one of our guys gave a news artlcle from Boise saying that our first team are a bunch of cowards for supposedly wimping out," Coach Kaname said after the game. "Those are fighting words. They don't sit well with me. The first team saw the article too. I decided to bring the starters out to shut them up. And that's what they did."

Right guard P.J. Morris led the blockers with 26 pancakes while Graham Bell added 17 pancakes and wideout Jason Bower added 14. Middle linebacker Jules Macklemore had 13 tackles, while cornerbacks Josh Joyce and Richie Love each had an interception.

Mitakihara improve to 7-0 on the year and return home to take on Fresno State.
