Coach Kaname rewrites record books for Madoka

Mitakihara Magi head football coach Tatsuya Kaname delivered yet another landmark season for the Magi football program, who accustomed to these types of seasons. Coach Kaname broke seven of the records he owns in terms of coaching career after the Magi trounced the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 189-59, in the 2062 BCS National Championship Game in Pasadena, Calif.

"These records aren't about me," Coach Kaname said via phone interview in Mitakihara Town, B.C. "It's about the players I coach and the coaches I work with, some who I used to coach. So it's one big team effort that allows me to get these records. If it was only about me, I wouldn't be able to get this far. Our team gets all the credit. This is as much their record as it is mine's."

Mitakihara finish the season 13-0.
