So far, the first third of the regular season schedule for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi have been nothing but Games of the Weeks. So after the Magi destroyed the Alabama Crimson Tide 93-23 at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., does Coach Kaname think next week's road finale against Georgia will be another Game of the Week?

"Seeing how bad Georgia have been playing as of late, I would be surprised if next week is another Game of the Week," Coach Kaname said. "If that is the case, maybe every game we play should be a Game of the Week. It would be more TV revenue for us and more funds for our endowment, more moolah for the bottom line, etc. But seriously, I think it will just be another National Broadcast, but you never know."

Quarterback Haruki Takayama struggled again throwing the ball, going 9-for-11 with 144 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. However, he countered the inconsistent passing with 355 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 324 yards and three touchdowns, wide receiver Dee Dee Sonoda caught two passes for 57 yards and his first touchdown as a Magi, wideout Jason Saka had nine pancakes and cornerback Terry Utley had 12 tackles and two sacks. Free safety Lea Eino and cornerback Tarzan Takagi had an interception each, while middle linebacker Austin Novak had 15 tackles and a sack.

Mitakihara improve to 4-0.
