In a rematch of the 2063 BCS National Championship Game, the sequel was as decisive as the predecessor as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi rolled past Leeroy Jenkins's Nebraska Cornhuskers, 154-24, at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb. Quarterback Ricky Cojuangco, in a bid to win his second Heisman Trophy, passed for 248 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 551 yards and nine more scores.

Halfback Dan Roxas ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns, halfback Billy Shaw ran for 245 yards and four more majors, fullback James Stanley rushed for 248 yards and three scores and halfback Joseph Annan ran for 74 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Johnny Muntari caught three passes for 89 yards and a touchcown and wideout Zac Chabangu caught two passes for 77 yards and a major.

Muntari, Roxas and wideout Jason Saka led a surprisingly quiet blocking performance with four pancakes each. Middle linebacker Austin Novak had 18 tackles to lead the defense, while cornerback Greg Essien had 17 tackles and two interceptions. Freshman right end Dakota Okabe led the pass rush with four sacks.

Mitakihara improve to 4-0 and conclude their road trip next week against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
