As luck would have it, former Mitakihara Magi quarterback Ricky Cojuangco was not taken into much consideration by the NFL scouts. Because of this, he was able to reform his band, Kaname Hall, and they were able to produce their fifth album, entitled "Comeback Trail."

Due to his commitments to playing pro football, Dan Roxas was replaced at lead guitarist by Yuzu Iizuka. The remaining members of the band—Abel Estrada, Marc Legaspi and Joel Lacson—remain intact and recorded on the album. Production of "Comeback Trail" took place over three weeks at the newly formed Wingman Studios in uptown Mitakihara, owned and operated by musician and record producer Kazero Otonashi.

"We had a great time composing this album," Cojuangco said. He is the current graduate assistant to Mitakihara Magi head football coach Tatsuya Kaname. "I'm glad the NFL decided to stay away from me because they allowed me to follow my one true passion, which is playing music. Comeback Trail is a sign of us returning, a return to playing for our fans and everybody we love. Everyone will love this album. Kaname Hall is back."

"Comeback Trail" is out on iTunes for $19.99 CAN.
