After Illinois Fighting Illini cornerback Antonio Henderson picked off one of quarterback Haruki Takayama's passes, Mitakihara Magi head football coach Tatsuya Kaname slammed down his head set and called time-out. Needless to say, he was visibly displeased.

"We're gonna have to break out the machine gun on these motherfuckers now after that shitty throw from you, Trick," Coach Kaname told the offense and defense in the team. "Get after their collective asses right now because we're not gonna let that fly. Let's go! Let's get to work! Hajimaru yo!" The team responded and obliterated Illinois in the first quarter 112-21 en route to a 182-73 demolition of the Illini at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill.

Takayama ended up passing for 548 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 132 yards and three majors. Halfback Jansen Onjouji ran for 244 yards and three scores, halfback Ryan Johnson ran for 90 yards and two majors and halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 55 yards and two more scores. Wide receiver Steve Takakamo caught five passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns and wideout Shane Balogun caught three passes for 102 yards and two scores.

Wide receiver George Griffin led the Magi in blocking with 25 pancakes, while Balogun had 21 and wideout Dee Dee Sonoda had 11. Cornerback Tarzan Takagi had six interceptions, including three returned for touchdowns. Strong safety Chris Niskanen had three picks, backup quarterback Richard Franz had 13 tackles and free safety Roy Egwuekwe had 12 tackles.

On special teams, Sonoda showed why he was the Mosi Tatupu Award winner two seasons ago, returning both kickoffs 171 yards for touchdowns. Halfback Clay Robinson returned another two kickoffs for 113 yards and another score.

Madoka improve to 5-0 and begin their home schedule next week against the Florida State Seminoles in Homecoming 2066.
