From snowstorms.

If the massive gridiron warship known as the Navy Midshipmen football team hit an iceberg and capsized, the iceberg would be Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi, who shut out Navy 83-0 at the Sakura Bowl in Mitakihara Town. B.C. This was the Magi's first shutout since Nov. 13, 2060, when they rolled past the Hawai'i Warriors, 101-0 at Tatsuya Kaname Field. In other words, their first clean sheet in nearly four years.

Quarterback Haruki Takayama passed for 247 yards and a touchdown, halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 130 yards and three majors, halfback Gary Gumede rushed for 109 yards and a score and fullback Mike Gray ran for a pair of short touchdown runs. Wide receiver Dee Dee Sonoda had seven catches for 94 yards and wideout Jason Saka had four catches for 61 yards and a score.

Center Ron Nwankwo led the Madoka Magi in blocking with 11 pancakes while allowing one sack. Left tackle Trenton Jenkins also pitched in with eight pancakes. Defensive tackle Sean Yamashita led the defense with nine tackles, 4 TFL and three sacks while right end Dakota Okabve had six tackles and two sacks.

Mitakihara improve to 10-0 and take on the Texas A&M Aggies in another blockbuster showdown at the Sakura Bowl next week.
