Quarterback Haruki Takayama had a rough day throwing the ball, with just 259 yards passing and one interception. So, to offset the lack of passing punch, the man whose nickname has been reduced to simply "Trick" ran for 336 yards and five scores to lead Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi to a 90-27 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Halfback Bruno Okuno rushed for 187 yards and three touchdowns, halfback Gary Gumede ran for 40 yards and two scores and wide receiver Zac Chabangu caught six passes for 105 yards. Chabangu added 30 pancakes, while wideout Dee Dee Sonoda had 31.

Middle linebacker Ryan Kwarasey and strong safety Chris Niskanen had 12 tackles each. Cornerback Brian Pitts returned a fumble 44 yards for a touchdown. On special teams, halfback Clay Robinson got his first kickoff return for a touchdown: a 93-yard scamper on the left sideline untouched and well blocked.

Madoka improve to 2-0 and head north next week to face the Army Black Knights.
