Madoka sound off Army, 105-27

It's another victory for Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi after they rolled past the Army Black Knights, 105-27, at Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y. Quarterback Haruki Takayama threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 280 yards and three more scores to lead Madoka.

Halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 189 yards and three scores, fullback James Stanley rushed for 201 yards and three majors, halfback Gary Gumede ran for 78 yards and a score, wide receiver Zac Chabangu caught four passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns and wideout Dee Dee Sonoda caught four passes for 84 yards. Sonoda also led the blockers with 31 pancakes.

Middle linebacker Ryan Kwarasey led the defense in tackles with 14, a sack and an interception. Left end Shintarou Okabe hadc three sacks and cornerback Victor Ejide added two interceptions, including one that was returned 23 yards for a touchdown.

Mitakihara improve to 3-0 and head south to face the Penn State Nittany Lions next week.
