Yes, Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi can win games normally too. The Magi defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the pouring rain at the Sakura Bowl in Mitakihara Town, B.C. to the tune of 58-17. Quarteback Haruki Takayama, however, struggled with his passing, throwing for 216 yards and an interception, so the Magi were forced to go to the ground to deliver.

Halfback Bruno Okuno led the ground game with 33 carries for 199 yards and three touchdowns while fullback James Stanley carried the vall six times for 1002 yards and two more scores. Halfback Gary Gumede and Takayama each ran for 96 yards, while wide receiver Jason Saka caught four passes for 75 yards and a score.

Center Marcus Anderson led the blockers with 12 pancakes. Right end Dakota Okabe led the tacklers on defense with 11 tackles and three dsacks. Left end Shintarou Okabe and right outside linebacker Clint Obinna each had 10 tackles and two sacks each, while defensive tackle Sean Yamashita added nine tackles and three more sacks.

Mitakihara improve to 7-0 and face Stanford next week.
