The only mistakes from Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the pouring rain at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pa. were five sacks given up and a fumble. Otherwise, it was a good day out for Haruki Takayama, who passed for 450 yards and eight touchdowns while rushing for 198 yards and seven more scores as the Magi crushed the Nittany Lions, 210-55.

Halfback Gary Gumede ran for 248 yards and three scores, backup quarterback Brad Parham ran for 159 yards and two scores, halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 105 yards and a major and wide receiver Jason Saka caught nine passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns.

Wide receiver Marcus Stewart led the blockers with 26 pancakes while Saka added 20. Wideout Dee Dee Sonoda, who returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the first half, and wideout Zac Chabangu had 12 pancakes. Cornerback Tarzan Takagi led the defense with seven interceptions. Free safeties Roy Egquekwe and Mike Frenzel had two interceptions each.

Madoka improve to 5-0 and will conclude the road trip next week against Tennessee.
