Snow Day on Homecoming Day as Madoka beat ND 73-14

The snow came in real early as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi took on Raul Chaser's Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the Sakura Bowl in Mitakihara Town, B.C. On Madoka Kaname's birthday and the day of the founding of Mitakihara University, the Magi defeated the Irish, 73-14, in a light snowstorm.

Quarterback Haruki Takayama passed for 282 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 113 yards. Halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 96 yards and three majors, halfback Gary Gumede ran for 103 yards and a score and wide receiver Dee Dee Sonoda caiught six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.

Center Marcus Anderson led the blockers with nine pancakes while left guard Sean Scott added six pancakes. Left end Shintarou Okabe had seven tackles and two sacks while cornerback Howard Skinner and middle linebacker Ryan "Lion" Kwarasey added eight tackles each.

Mitakihara improve to 6-0 and return to action next week against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
