Madoka stick it to Oklahoma, 78-17

Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi cruised past the Oklahoma Sooners, 78-17, at the Sakura Bowl in Mitakihara Town, B.C. Quarterback Haruki Takayama went full throttle throwing the ball, with 376 yards passing and three touchdowns while rushing for 54 yards and two more scores. As has been the case all season, a steady mix of run and pass paced the Magi on offense against the Sooners.

Halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 131 yards, halfback Jansen Onjouji ran for 104 yards and two scores, fullback Joe Sato ran for 49 yards and a major, wide receiver Shane Balogun caught six passes for 129 yards and Okuno also caught three passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Left guard Sean Scott led the blockers with 13 pancakes while left tackle Jasper Tanaka had eight pancakes while allowing one sack.

Right outisde linebacker Sonny Miyanaga had 13 tackles, a sack and an interception to lead the defense. Middle linebacker Danny Miyanaga has 12 tacckle, cornerback Victor Ejide had eight tackles and an pic and defensive tackle Sean Yamashita had five tackles and two sacks.

Mitakihara improve to 10-0 and return to action next week when they host the Stanford Cardinal in prime time.
