Mitakihara ease past Stanford, 74-26

The first points of Saturday night's match between Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi and the Stanford Cardinal at the Sakura Bowl in Mitakihara Town, British Columbia were...a safety. A aggressive pass rush, combine with some sound offensive sequences, powered the Best College Football Team in All of College Football to another convincing victory.

Quarterback Haruki Takayama passed for 328 yards and ran for 124 yards and two scores while backup Terry Miyanaga passed for 119 yards and two majors and ran for another touchdown. Halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns, halfback Jansen Onjouji ran for 67 yardss and a score, wide receiver Shane Balogun caught seven passes for 106 yards and a major and wideout Dee Dee Sonoda caught four passes for 90 yards.

Left guard Sean Scott led the blockers on offense with 15 pancakes while allowing just one sack. Middle linebacker Danny Miyanaga paced the defense with 10 tackles, left end Ken Atago had eight tackles and two sacks and defensive tackle Sean Yamashita had seven tackles and two more sacks.

Mitakihara improve to 11-0 and conclude the regular season next week against the California Golden Bears in Magia Day 2067.
