Mitakihara storm past Washington, 138-14

In the pouring rain at Husky Stadium in Seattle, Wash., Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi stormed past the Washington Huskies, 138-14. Quarterback Haruki Takayama passed for 192 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 318 yards and seven more scores to lead the ground game for the Magi.

Halfback Bruno Okuno ran for 300 yards and three touchdowns, halfback Jansen Onjouji ran for 217 yards and four scores, halfback Ryan Johnson ran for 65 yards and a major and fullback Joe Sato rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Shane Balogun led the receiving game with three catches for 69 yards.

Wide receiver Steve Takakamo led the blockers on offense with 13 pancakes, while Balogun added seven. On defense, middle linebacker Danny Miyanaga had 11 tackles, a sack and an interception. Defensive tackle Sean Yamashita was a beast on the pass rush with seven tackles and six sacks. Cornerback Howard Skinner also had a couple of picks.

Mitakihara improve to 5-0 and are back in action next week in Homecoming 2067 against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
