The Ohio State Buckeyes were reduced to just five field goals and zero offensive and defensive touchdowns as Tatsuya Kaname's Mitakihara Magi mowed down the Buckeyes, 104-15, in the pouring rain at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Quarterback Terry Miyanaga passed for 129 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 259 yard and four more scores. A strong balance of pass and run paced the undefeated Magi on Saturday, but it was the run that took center stage.

Halfback Jansen Onjouji ran for 260 yards and three touchdowns, halfback Joe Sato ran for 143 yards and a score, fullback Drew Childs ran for 170 yards and three majors and wide receiver Will Atsu had four catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. Onjouji led the blockers with five pancakes while center Arturs Virsaladze added three more pancakes.

Defensively, the Magi were led by their safeties. Free safety Haku Ichijou had 12 tackles and two interceptions including one returned 56 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Strong safety Shiroyuki Kaname had 11 tackles and two picks including one returned 26 yards for a score, also in the fourth quarter. Cornerback Henry Waris led the tacklers with 15 tackles while left outside linebacker Joey Agyemang Badu had eight tackles and three sacks.

Mitakihara improve to 7-0 and return home next week to take on the Missouri Tigers in a massive showdown that could determine the BCS picture.
